{"id":8992,"date":"2023-09-16T10:08:54","date_gmt":"2023-09-16T10:08:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=8992"},"modified":"2023-09-16T10:08:54","modified_gmt":"2023-09-16T10:08:54","slug":"the-prime-minister-is-going-to-new-york-on-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/8992\/","title":{"rendered":"The Prime Minister is going to New York on Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to the United States on Sunday (September 17) to attend the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Foreign Minister Dr.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">AK Abdul Momen will be with him.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Abdul Momen gave this information to reporters at a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday (September 14).<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He said that the Prime Minister will lead the Bangladesh delegation in the UN General Assembly session.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It is reported that world leaders gathered in New York with the theme &#8216;Rebuilding Trust and Reigniting Global Solidarity: Accelerating Action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals Towards Peace, Prosperity, Progress, and Sustainability for All&#8217; at the opening ceremony of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA78).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">will be<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The foreign minister said the first day of the high-level general debate will be held on September 19.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Like other years, the Prime Minister will address Bangladesh in the general debate on September 22.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In his address, he will highlight Bangladesh&#8217;s development progress, inclusive economic development, and success in the health sector.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Besides, world peace, security, safe immigration, the civil crisis in forcibly displaced Myanmar, and the establishment of climate justice will come up in his speech.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Besides, like every year, this year too there are likely to be several high-level meetings and debates during the general debate phase.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In which the Prime Minister can participate.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Abdul Momen said that the active participation of the Bangladesh delegation led by the Prime Minister in the 78th session of the United Nations is expected to strengthen Bangladesh&#8217;s position in multilateral forums and expand the field of international cooperation on issues related to Bangladesh&#8217;s interests.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to the United States on Sunday (September 17) to attend the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
