Sabirul Islam.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Divisional Commissioner assigned Assistant Commissioner Al Amin Halder to investigate the incident.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Last Saturday, Al Amin Halder and Acting Principal of Vikarunnisa College Keka Roy Chowdhury went to the Bashundhara Branch of Vikarunnisa.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">There he spoke to the accused teacher, the parents of the victim girl, the in-charge of the day branch, and the 10 teachers concerned.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At that time, the accused teacher, Abu Sufian, threatened some teachers in front of the investigating officer and said that the divisional commissioner could not do anything to me.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">My arms are longer than his.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Investigation officer Al Amin Halder expressed his anger over this incident.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">But he continued his work.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He listened to everyone&#8217;s speech and video recorded some of the speeches.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The victim&#8217;s mother told the investigating officer, &#8220;I used to respect and adore him (the teacher) like my own brother.&#8221;<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">How did he do this?<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It will haunt me for the rest of my life,&#8217; he sobbed.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The victim&#8217;s mother said, I suddenly see many changes in my daughter.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I see disappointment in him.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I doubted the low marks in the exam.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I keep looking for reasons why this is happening.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">One day, Abu Sufyan&#8217;s SMS came on his daughter&#8217;s mobile phone.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I was shocked and dumbfounded by the language of that SMS.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It seemed that I was not in this world\u2014so vulgar, offensive language!<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I didn&#8217;t know what to do.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At this time, the victim&#8217;s mother cried for a while.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He wants teacher Abu Sufyan to be severely punished.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The student&#8217;s mother said that Abu Sufyan threatened us for complaining to the divisional commissioner.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He said, &#8216;Nothing will happen to him by making these complaints.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">There have been such troubles before.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">If anything happens this time, I will commit suicide.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The present teacher told the investigating officer that there had been many complaints against him earlier.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I could not protest for various reasons.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">We demand that you take all necessary steps to maintain the school environment.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The accused teacher, Abu Sufian, claimed to the investigating officer that he was framed by conspiracy.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A group of teachers is conspiring to remove him from that branch.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When asked for a statement on the matter, Vikarunnisa Noon School and College Principal (Acting) Keka Roy Chowdhury said that the matter is under investigation and it is forbidden to talk about it now.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Our stance on these issues is zero tolerance.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">If the charges are proven, they will be severely punished.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: The punishment of teacher Abu Sufian of the Bashundhara branch of Vikarunnisa Noon School and College has been demanded for sexual harassment of a student.
