{"id":8526,"date":"2023-08-23T10:55:53","date_gmt":"2023-08-23T10:55:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=8526"},"modified":"2023-08-23T10:55:53","modified_gmt":"2023-08-23T10:55:53","slug":"the-jubo-league-leader-was-remanded-for-3-days-for-forcing-a-teenager-to-commit-immoral-acts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/8526\/","title":{"rendered":"The Jubo League leader was remanded for 3 days for forcing a teenager to commit immoral acts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> The court has granted a three-day remand to Mehnaz Tabassum Mishu, the former joint general secretary of the Dhaka District Jubo Mahila League, in a case filed against an eighth-grade student in Savar, Dhaka, where she was accused of forcing her to do immoral acts by taking pictures of her undressed.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Rabeya Begum of the Dhaka Senior Judicial Magistrate granted the remand after the hearing on Wednesday (August 23).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Earlier, on August 19, Mehnaz Mishu was arrested from his house near Savar Upazila Parishad.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In the afternoon of that day, he was presented in court and requested to be detained in jail.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The court ordered Mishu to be sent to jail.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The next day, on August 20, the investigating officer of the case applied for his seven-day remand.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The court then fixed August 23 for the remand hearing.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to the complaint in the case, Mishu, her husband, and some unknown associates threw her from the roof of the 5th-floor building after failing to force her to commit immoral acts by taking pictures of the girl undressed.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The girl was treated for a long time at the Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar with severe injuries.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He returned home on August 19.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In this incident, the girl&#8217;s mother filed a case against Mehnaz Mishu, her husband, Atiqur Rahman Atiq, and 6-7 unidentified people at Savar police station.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Meanwhile, after Mehnaz Mishu&#8217;s arrest, he was suspended from the organization for &#8216;being involved in indiscipline activities&#8217;.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: The court has granted a three-day remand to Mehnaz Tabassum Mishu, the former joint general secretary of the Dhaka District Jubo Mahila League, in a case filed against an eighth-grade student in Savar, Dhaka, where she was accused of forcing her to do immoral acts by taking pictures of her undressed.
