{"id":8495,"date":"2023-08-23T05:07:32","date_gmt":"2023-08-23T05:07:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=8495"},"modified":"2023-08-23T05:07:32","modified_gmt":"2023-08-23T05:07:32","slug":"allegation-of-obstruction-and-threats-by-opponents-during-cultivation-in-lohagara","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/8495\/","title":{"rendered":"Allegation of obstruction and threats by opponents during cultivation in Lohagara"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Own Correspondent:<\/strong> The local Dr. Sultan Ahmad has faced obstacles and threats from the opponent when he went to cultivate Aman saplings on his own land in Charamba Union in Lohagara Upazila<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This incident took place in Ward No. 6 of Atra Union on Tuesday morning on August 22.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In this regard, general diary (no-1067) was made by Dr. Lohagara police station against the opponent on the same day.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sultan Ahmad.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Accusations have been made against 5 written and 9\/10 anonymous people including opponent Bashir Ahmed in the diary.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to the diary, the complainant\u00a0<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When Dr. Sultan Ahmad went to cultivate the land with a power tractor, the opponents stopped him without provocation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At one point, if he tries to do any kind of cultivation on the land, he threatens to kill him and hide the body.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Apart from this, the complainant and his people were publicly threatened with beatings, defamations and lawsuits by unknown terrorists.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The complainant said the threats continued.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">As a result, the complainant and his family are suffering from insecurity of life and property.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He felt that urgent intervention of concerned authorities is necessary in this regard.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In this context, the accused Bashir Ahmad said that Dr.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sultan Ahmad.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He was not present at that time.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In this regard, Charamba UP Chairman said that he is sick.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">However, heard the incident.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">No one informed him about this dispute.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Rashedul Islam, officer in charge of Lohagara police station, said that legal action will be taken subject to investigation regarding the dispute.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Own Correspondent: The local Dr. Sultan Ahmad has faced obstacles and threats from the opponent when he went to cultivate Aman saplings on his own land in Charamba Union in Lohagara Upazila.
