{"id":8422,"date":"2023-08-17T08:11:31","date_gmt":"2023-08-17T08:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=8422"},"modified":"2023-08-17T08:11:31","modified_gmt":"2023-08-17T08:11:31","slug":"80-maunds-of-hilsa-were-caught-in-15-trawlers-selling-about-3-crores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/8422\/","title":{"rendered":"80 maunds of hilsa were caught in 15 trawlers, selling about 3 crores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Patuakhali Correspondent:<\/strong> The fishermen of Patuakhali are relieved of the large amount of fish caught from the sea.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Many trawlers returned to shore with 20 to 120 tons of hilsa.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Alipur-Mahipur of Kalapara has returned to life with the import of hilsa.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">After a long time, there is joy among people of all professions, from moneylenders to fishermen catching fish in their nets.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Since Wednesday evening (August 16), fishermen, trawler owners, and laborers have been busy at Alipur-Mahipur fishing port.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Many people are sending fish packets to different parts of the country in trucks, pickups, and cars.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Kalapara Senior Fishery Officer Apu Saha said that 70 maunds of hilsa fish were found in two fishing trawlers named FB Zubair and FB Islam on Wednesday.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sold for Rs. 25 lakhs.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">FB Bilkis-1 Trawler Md.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Hasem got 60 maunds of hilsa and sold it for 20 lakh taka.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The master of the FB Bilkis-2 trawler, Jabbar Hossain, bought 70 maunds of hilsa for 22 lakh taka; the master of the FB Rakibul Hasan trawler, A.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sattar, bought 20 man hilsha for 17 lakh; and the master of the FB Madina-1 trawler Kamal Hossain 40 hilsha 15 lakh, FB Maryam trawler Khalek Khan 60 hilsha 20 lakh, FB Rifat trawler Majhi Shahabuddin 120 hilsha 40 lakh, FB Allah Dan trawler Majhi Muhammad Kabir sold<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">110 maunds of hilsa for 35 lakh taka; the master Dulal of the FB Hossain-2 trawler sold 50 maunds of hilsa for 15 lakhs; the master of the FB Elma Akter-4 trawler Alamgir sold 30 maunds of hilsa for 9 lakhs; and the master of the FB Ma Amena trawler sold 40 maunds of hilsa for 12 lakh taka.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He said that on Wednesday, the fishermen from 11 trawlers got a remarkable 700 maunds of hilsa.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The price of which is 2 crore 30 lakh taka.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to the Kalapara Fisheries Office, FB Babar Doa, FB Allah Daan, FB Nipa-6, and FB Kajal have sold 110 maunds of hilsa for Tk 50 lakh.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Mahipur Matsya Arat Samiti leader and UP Chairman Fazlu Gazi said that fishing trawlers with red nets that go deep in the sea are getting more or less hilsa.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">About 15 to 20 percent of trawlers are getting hilsa.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The rest received a small amount of Hilsa. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">If this trend continues, good business can be done after the losses.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Patuakhali Correspondent: The fishermen of Patuakhali are relieved of the large amount of fish caught from the sea.
