{"id":8350,"date":"2023-08-08T03:54:13","date_gmt":"2023-08-08T03:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=8350"},"modified":"2023-08-08T03:54:13","modified_gmt":"2023-08-08T03:54:13","slug":"banga-matas-93rd-birth-anniversary-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/8350\/","title":{"rendered":"Banga Mata&#8217;s 93rd birth anniversary today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>The Crime Desk:<\/strong> The 93rd birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatun Necha Mujib, wife of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, is today, Tuesday.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Bangamata was born on August 8, 1930, in the then-Gopalganj Mahakumar Tungipara village.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">His nickname was Renu.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">His father&#8217;s name is Sheikh Zahurul Haque, and his mother&#8217;s name is Hosne Ara Begum.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He was the youngest of one brother and two sisters.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On the night of August 15, 1975, he was brutally martyred by the killers of the Father of the Nation.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">President Md.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Apart from government programs on the day, various political and social organizations, including the Awami League and its affiliated organizations, organized tributes, discussions, and Milad Mahfil.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On the occasion of the day, Bangladesh television, Bangladesh Betar, and other electronic media broadcast special programs under the leadership of Bangabandhu. Bangladesh gained independence through a long struggle.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Fazilatun Nesha Mujib was the motivation behind this fight-struggle movement.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He followed Bangabandhu&#8217;s entire political life like a shadow and was a source of inspiration in his every work.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When Bangabandhu was repeatedly living his life as a prisoner in the hands of Pakistani rulers after the declaration of the 6-point charter for the liberation of the Bengali nation, the leaders and activists of the Awami League used to run to Fazilatun Necha Mujib.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He used to convey various directions from Bangabandhu to them and inspire them to continue the struggle.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In the Agartala Conspiracy Case, Bangabandhu was released on parole by some miscreants who conspired to jeopardize the freedom struggle.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Then Begum Mujib&#8217;s firm stance against parole accelerated Bengal&#8217;s liberation struggle.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Begum Mujib, who followed the ideals of Swami Bangabandhu in shadow, did many risky things in her life, and for this she had to suffer a lot.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Due to the devotion, patriotism, visionary thinking, intelligence, and bravery that Begum Mujib has shown in the movement and struggle of the people of this country, she is today sitting on the seat of Banga Mata along with the Father of the Nation.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He will forever be remembered for his unique role in the politics of this country.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This noble woman was brutally martyred on August 15 with the family of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, by the bullet of the murderous circle.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatun Nescha Mujib, the Awami League and affiliated organizations, including the Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Awami League, will pay respects at Banani Cemetery at 8 a.m. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Apart from this, the Awami Jubo League will hold a discussion on the occasion of Bangmata&#8217;s birth anniversary titled &#8216;Inspired and given strength by Vijay-Lakshmi women&#8217;.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League will distribute food to orphans at Baad Zohar Sir Salimullah Muslim Orphanage at 2 p.m. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Sramik League will hold a discussion meeting at 3 p.m. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Apart from this, Freedom Doctors Parishad will organize a day-long free health camp in Gopalganj, Tungipara.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Bangladesh Chhatra League will celebrate the birth anniversary of Bangmata Shaheed Sheikh Fazilatun Necha Mujib and the student rally titled &#8216;Bangladesh Mata, Bangladesh Leader&#8217;.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Awami League General Secretary and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has called upon the leaders, activists, supporters, and well-wishers of the Awami League and allied organizations at all levels to celebrate the birth anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nescha Mujib with due dignity.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Crime Desk: The 93rd birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatun Necha Mujib, wife of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, is today, Tuesday.
