{"id":8102,"date":"2023-07-21T08:50:53","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T08:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=8102"},"modified":"2023-07-21T08:50:53","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T08:50:53","slug":"jubo-league-worker-killed-in-the-capital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/8102\/","title":{"rendered":"Jubo League worker killed in the capital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> A Jubo League worker named Aliullah Rubel (36) was hacked to death in Shahjahanpur Gulbagh, the capital.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Apart from politics, he ran an internet and egg supplier business in the area.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The incident took place on Thursday (July 21) at around 1:15 a.m. on the road next to the house on Gulbag Jowardar Lane.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He used to live in a rented house number 153\/A in Jowardar Lane with his wife and only daughter.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">His father&#8217;s name is Sheikh Nabi Ullah Khokon.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">They have their own house in Shanti Bagh.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">His sister-in-law is in the hospital.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Mamun Ahmed Siddiqui said that Rubel was returning to his rented house in Jowardar Lane from Rajarbagh at night.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On the way, near the house, 4-5 people hacked him with sharp weapons, injured him, and left him on the road.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On hearing the news, the family members rescued him and first took him to Islami Bank Hospital.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">From there, he was taken to Pangu Hospital and finally to Dhaka Medical, where the doctor declared him dead.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">All over his body, including his head, right hand, shoulder, and right leg, were injured by sharp weapons.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The left leg is amputated.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He also said that Rubel was the former office secretary of the Shahjahanpur Thana Chhatra League.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">But currently he is doing Jubo League politics.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">But was not in any position.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He has an internet business in the area.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Besides, he used to bring eggs from Tejgaon and supply them to Shantinagar and the Siddheshwari area.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">His wife, Tanzina Dewan, is a member of the Central Women&#8217;s Awami League.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">But the relatives could not tell who committed the murder.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Meanwhile, the officer in charge (OC) of Shahjahanpur police station confirmed the truth of the incident.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Farukul Alam said that there are injuries from sharp weapons all over his body.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The body has been kept in the morgue.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Who and why is this incident being investigated? <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The killers will be brought to justice soon.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: A Jubo League worker named Aliullah Rubel (36) was hacked to death in Shahjahanpur Gulbagh, the capital.
