filed a case against Taher as defendant No. 1 in the Cox&#8217;s Bazar Women and Child Torture Prevention Tribunal.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This incident has created a sensation in the area.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The incident took place in Piazzakata village of Khutakhali Union Ward No. 6 of Chakaria Upazila of Cox&#8217;s Bazar.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Although the couple got married in the affidavit, they are currently fleeing the area due to fear of the police.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to the locals and the son&#8217;s family, three and a half years ago, Taherul Islam (21), son of Mamunur Rashid of Piyajjyakata village of Khutakhali union of Chakaria upazila, developed a love relationship with Tasfia Jannat Arju, daughter of Mohammad Hosain of Madrasapara village, the new office of Islampur union of adjacent Eidgaon upazila.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">To complete their love relationship, they got married secretly on the basis of the affidavit of the Cox&#8217;s Bazar Notary Public on July 3.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When the matter became known among the family, Arju&#8217;s mother, Samina Akhtar, became the plaintiff and filed a case against Taher in the Cox&#8217;s Bazar Women and Child Torture Prevention Tribunal.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Taher&#8217;s younger uncle, Master Abu Saeed, has been charged with conspiracy.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">But he did not have the slightest involvement with this incident.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Although the couple demanded from both families that they bring her home with family and social recognition, they are currently out of the area due to the case filed by Arju&#8217;s mother.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Taher said that if Arju pressured me to get married, I used to waste time by saying today and tomorrow.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In the meantime, when the matter came to light, his family cut off contact.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Finally, I forced Arju to come back to me.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">For this reason, I married him through a notary public.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">However, Taher&#8217;s family refused the marriage and claimed that there was no contact with his son.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> Father Mamunur Rashid said, &#8220;We are poor.&#8221;<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">So Arju&#8217;s mother refused to give my son the status of husband.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">My son has been homeless for the past month. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I wish for justice in this case.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When asked to know, Tasfia Jannat Arju&#8217;s mother, Samina Akhter, told me on the phone that whether she gets married or not, I want my daughter to appear.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span
