{"id":7856,"date":"2023-07-03T10:33:30","date_gmt":"2023-07-03T10:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=7856"},"modified":"2023-07-03T10:33:30","modified_gmt":"2023-07-03T10:33:30","slug":"the-price-of-lp-gas-fell-below-a-thousand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/7856\/","title":{"rendered":"The price of LP gas fell below a thousand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been slashed.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At the consumer level, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the price of each 12 kg cylinder by 75 taka to 999 taka.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Which until now was one thousand 74 taka.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The new rates were announced at a press conference at the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) hall on Monday (July 03).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The new fixed prices will be effective from 6 pm.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">BERC has fixed the retail price of LPG at Tk 83 21 paise per kg.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to that, the price of cylinders weighing five and a half kg, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 45 kg has decreased.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">To maintain consistency with the international market, BERC has been announcing LPG prices every month in coordination with Saudi Aramco company&#8217;s propane and butane prices.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On April 12, 2021, BERC fixed the price of LPG for the first time in the country.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been slashed.
