{"id":7847,"date":"2023-07-03T07:29:11","date_gmt":"2023-07-03T07:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=7847"},"modified":"2023-07-03T07:29:11","modified_gmt":"2023-07-03T07:29:11","slug":"permission-to-land-helicopters-on-the-roof-of-the-house-this-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/7847\/","title":{"rendered":"Permission to land helicopters on the roof of the house this month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> The Civil Aviation Authority (BAB) is going to allow helicopter landings on rooftops of houses, corporate helipads, residential hotels, and hospitals starting this July.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The organization is already preparing a policy in this regard.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Babychak chairman also agreed to this.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The decision will be issued in the form of a circular and implemented by July.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This Monday (July 3) morning, Babychak Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Mofidur Rahman said that permission to land helicopters on the rooftop has been approved.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It will be issued in circular form in July itself.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to Bebichak sources, the building where the helicopter will land must be suitable for landing.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">For this, the necessary certificate should be obtained from BUET.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The establishment of a helipad will not be allowed without a certificate.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Besides, permission is also being given to use any open space in the country as a helipad.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">For several years, helipads in Dhaka were not allowed to land helicopters.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The reason for this, Bebichak said, was a verbal disallowance from the Ministry of Home Affairs to give such permission.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">They cited security risks and the threat of drug trafficking.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">So until now, helicopters used to take off and land from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: The Civil Aviation Authority (BAB) is going to allow helicopter landings on rooftops of houses, corporate helipads, residential hotels, and hospitals starting this July.
