{"id":7751,"date":"2023-06-20T12:57:28","date_gmt":"2023-06-20T12:57:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=7751"},"modified":"2023-06-20T12:59:21","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T12:59:21","slug":"terrorist-attack-on-the-dainik-desh-sangash-newspaper-office-in-broad-daylight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/7751\/","title":{"rendered":"Terrorist attack on the Dainik Desh Sangash&#8217; newspaper office in broad daylight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Khulna Correspondent:<\/strong> Terrorists attacked the office of the Daily Desh Sangash, published in Khulna, in broad daylight.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Khulna Sadar Police Station OC Hasan Al Mamun visited the spot after receiving the news of the attack.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The attack took place at the newspaper&#8217;s office on the ground floor of Jahan Manzil, 40 Beni Babu Road in the city, on Tuesday (June 20) afternoon.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At this time, the doors and windows of a printing press near the newspaper office were also attacked.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It is reported that around 1:30 PM, 6-7 youths attacked the &#8216;Dainik Desh Sangash&#8217; office on the ground floor of Jahan Manzil on Beni Babu Road with sharp weapons, including chapati and hammers. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">During this time, they smashed the door and window grills of the newspaper office and the glass door of a printing press with hammers.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Several other youths were standing guard outside on four motorcycles during the attack.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Editor of &#8220;Dainik Desh Sangash&#8221; and office secretary of Khulna Metropolitan Awami League Munshi Md.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Mahbub Alam Sohag said he was praying in an office room when the terrorists attacked in the afternoon.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Suddenly, 6-7 terrorists came shouting and smashed the office door and window grills, vandalizing them with hammers.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At that time, several other youths on four motorcycles were waiting on the street outside the office.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He also said that on April 13, news about drugs and gambling was published in the &#8220;Desh Sangash&#8221; newspaper.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He thinks that this incident may happen because of that report.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He has been suffering from extreme fear since the attack.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He said that he would file a case in this incident.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">OC Hasan Al Mamun of Khulna Sadar Police Station said that no case was registered until 5 p.m. in connection with the attack on the office of &#8216;Dainik Desh Sangsa&#8217;.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">We are investigating the incident.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">I will quickly identify the criminals and arrest them.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Khulna Correspondent: Terrorists attacked the office of the Daily Desh Sangash, published in Khulna, in broad daylight.
