from two separate cases filed at Lalbagh police station in the capital in connection with the campus fight.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On Monday (June 19), the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbub Ahmed ordered the release of the two cases after taking into account the final report given by the police.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Tamannaah and Razia&#8217;s lawyer, Sultana Roji, also confirmed the matter.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He said that two cases were filed out of a total of 33. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">19 were accused in one case and 14 in another.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A compromise has been reached between the two parties.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">They appeared in court on this day.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">None of the parties filed objections against the police report.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The court accepted the police report and ordered their release.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The leaders of both sides of the Eden Mahila College Chhatra League appeared in court on this day.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">None of the parties filed objections against the final report given by the police.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Later, the court accepted the police report and ordered their release.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It is known that on September 25 last year, a fight took place between the supporters of Chhatra League president Riva and general secretary Razia and the supporters of the vice presidents at the Eden College campus.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Three days after this incident, both parties filed a counter-case at Lalbagh police station on September 28.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">After investigating the two cases, the police filed a final report requesting their acquittal in court because the charges against the accused were not proved.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A total of 33 people were accused in two separate cases.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">19 were accused in one case and 14 in another.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Among the accused in a case are Eden Mahila College Chhatra League President Riva, General Secretary Razia, Kamrunnahar Jyoti, Jinnat Jahan Lima, Bijli Akhtar, Soma Mallick, Shahana Rahman, Shirin Sumi, Farzana Neela, Ritu Akhtar, Mim Islam, Nuzhat Faria Roksana, Noor Jahan, and<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Anika Tabassum Swarna.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Among the accused in the other case are Eden Mahila College Chhatra League vice president Jebun Nahar Sheila, Marjan Akhtar Urmi, Kalpana Begum, Sonali Akhtar, Sushmita Barai, Sadia Jahan Sathi, Jannatul Ferdous, joint general secretary Fatema Khanam Binti, and organizing secretary Samia Akhtar Baisakhi.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Incidentally, president Tamanna Jasmine Riva and general secretary Razia Sultana slammed the organization&#8217;s vice president, Jannatul Ferdowsi, for speaking in the media about harassment of common female students.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On the night of September 24, last year, the leaders and activists of the other party protested to demand the expulsion of Tamanna and Razia for harassing and beating the leader named Jannatul Ferdowsi.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The next day, on September 25, there was a clash between the two sides.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The organizational activities of the Eden College Chhatra League were suspended after a series of clashes.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Central Chhatra League
