{"id":7606,"date":"2023-06-11T17:40:14","date_gmt":"2023-06-11T17:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=7606"},"modified":"2023-06-11T17:40:14","modified_gmt":"2023-06-11T17:40:14","slug":"allegation-of-taking-advantage-of-the-secretary-to-become-a-contractor-of-the-chittagong-education-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/7606\/","title":{"rendered":"Allegation of taking advantage of the secretary to become a contractor of the Chittagong Education Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Correspondent:<\/strong> Chittagong Education Board&#8217;s OSR supplier contracting company, Marstus Simex Ltd.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Send Chittagong Education Board OSR by Corvadvan from Dhaka.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When the Corvadvan broke down, four mosaics on the lower floor of the Chittagong Education Board were broken.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A complaint has been received against Education Board Secretary Professor Rezaul Karim for extorting Tk 50,000 by threatening to become the concerned contractor for the broken four tiles.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It is known that the Chittagong Education Board completed the mosaic work by withdrawing advance money from the board&#8217;s own funds through Section Officer Jasim.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">About two months after the incident, the secretary of the board, Professor Rezaul Karim Marstus Cimex Company Ltd., received<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">50 thousand taka in cash from its representative in the name of repairing the said mosaic.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When the matter was known, the secretary deposited the said money with the office assistant, Sakhawat Hossain (punished).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When Sakhawat Hossain was contacted on mobile (01825013887) in this regard, he did not receive the mobile.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Regarding the complaint, the contracting company Marstus Simex Ltd., <\/span><\/span><\/span><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">when contacted on mobile (01833102457), did not receive.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When the secretary was contacted by phone at 02333336765 in this regard, he asked to go to the office and contact him.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">When the chairman was contacted by phone at 02333336766, his PA said that he was busy in the office.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to the Chittagong Education Board, there is no provision to accept any transaction in cash.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">There is a provision to deposit any money through Sonali Bank.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Correspondent: Chittagong Education Board&#8217;s OSR supplier contracting company, Marstus Simex Ltd.
