Afcharul Amin. His first namaza was held at the Awami League&#8217;s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital this Saturday (03 June). Members of the cabinet, members of parliament, central leaders of Awami League and people from various professions participated in the funeral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. President Md Afcharul Amin&#8217;s body. Sahabuddin and their military secretaries paid tributes on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Speaker at this time. Tributes were also paid on behalf of Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deputy Speaker Shamsul Haque Tuku along with Chief Whip and Whips also paid their respects. After that, on behalf of Awami League, party general secretary and road transport and bridge minister Obaidul Quader along with senior leaders paid tribute to Afcharul Amin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Obaidul Quader covered the body of the deceased with national and party flags.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On behalf of Awami League, the president of the party, member of the council, engineer Mosharraf Hossain and Dr. Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, joint general secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud, organizing secretary Mirza Azam, publicity secretary Dr. Central leaders including Abdus Sobhan Golap, Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides, Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League President Abu Ahmad Mannafi, General Secretary Humayun Kabir, Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and others were present at this time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Various organizations including Awami Jubo League, Volunteer League, Chittagong Metropolitan Awami League, Independence Doctors Parishad paid their respects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Note that Dr. Afcharul Amin died under treatment in a private hospital in the capital on Friday (02 June) around 4 pm. He was ill for a long time. He was taken on life support on Friday morning. He died in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Afcharul Amin is the current president of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Education. He was the Vice President of Chittagong Metropolitan Awami League till his death. From Chittagong-10 Constituency, he was elected Member of Parliament three times in 2008, 2014 and 2018.
