Mymensingh representative:<\/strong> ‘BNP-Jamaat has tortured women and killed people without trial while in power. “Consequently, if BNP-Jamaat comes to power in the next election, I will commit suicide by consuming poison,” said Nazim Uddin Ahmed, Member of Parliament of Mymensingh-3 (Gouripur) Constituency.<\/p>\n

He made this comment in a courtyard meeting in Bhutiarkona village of the Maoha union of the upazila on Saturday (May 27).<\/p>\n

Member of Parliament Nazim Uddin said, I have no resources. There is no money in the bank account. Now I am among you, destitute and empty. The Awami League should be kept in power by voting in the upcoming National Parliament elections to protect the continuity of development.<\/p>\n

The meeting was chaired by the former general secretary of the local ward Awami League Abdul Jabbar, among others Mymensingh Zilla Parishad member Golam Samdani Khan Sumon, the general secretary of the District Volunteer League Tanzir Ahmed Rajeev, the former acting president of the Upazila Awami League Dr. Helal Uddin Ahmed, and the former organizational secretary.
