{"id":6961,"date":"2023-05-22T11:23:25","date_gmt":"2023-05-22T11:23:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=6961"},"modified":"2023-05-22T11:23:25","modified_gmt":"2023-05-22T11:23:25","slug":"the-prime-minister-is-in-doha-on-a-three-day-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/6961\/","title":{"rendered":"The Prime Minister is in Doha on a three-day visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Doha on Monday (May 22) afternoon on a three-day official visit to attend the Qatar Economic Forum (QEF) 2023, to be held on May 23\u201325.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Prime Minister&#8217;s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said that a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Sheikh Hasina and her entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3:13 p.m. today.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, Chief Whip Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Md.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Mahbub Ali, Cabinet Secretary, Chief of Army, Air, and Acting Naval Forces, Inspector General of Police, and Dean of Diplomatic Corps saw off the Prime Minister at the airport.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The flight is scheduled to land at Hamad International Airport at 6 p.m. local time.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">During the visit, the Prime Minister will attend a forum titled &#8216;Third Qatar Economic Forum: New Global Growth Story&#8217; at the invitation of Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">QF is the Middle East&#8217;s leading voice dedicated to global business and investment.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The main objective of this forum is to find solutions through increased mutual cooperation among the international community to address the multi-faceted challenges and crises that are ongoing globally and the resulting adverse economic impacts.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sheikh Hasina will attend the inaugural session of the 3rd QF on May 23.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In Doha, he will address the students of Qatar University, Qatar&#8217;s Minister of State for Energy, Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, and Saudi Arabia&#8217;s Minister of Investment, Khalid A.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Will have a separate meeting with Al-Falih.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Prime Minister will join the QF on May 24.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Emir of Qatar will meet with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Sani (Amiri Diwan) and visit Awsaz Academy (a specialized school).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Prime Minister is expected to return home on the morning of May 25.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Doha on Monday (May 22) afternoon on a three-day official visit to attend the Qatar Economic Forum (QEF) 2023, to be held on May 23\u201325.
