His lawyer applied for bail on Monday (November 7). On the other hand, the state opposed the bail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the hearing of both sides, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehdi Hasan granted bail till December 1 on a surety of Tk 5,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, the accused was produced in the court after the remand on November 4. After that, until the investigation of the case is completed, the investigating officer of the case requested to keep him in jail. Mehdi Hasan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the other hand, his lawyer applied for bail. After hearing both sides, the court denied bail and ordered to send him to jail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, a team of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) arrested him from the Gulshan area of \u200b\u200bthe capital on the night of November 1. The next day on November 2, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain&#8217;s court rejected his bail application and granted a one-day remand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On January 10, 2022, Saiful Islam Bhuiyan, brother of ASEAN Group chairman Nazrul Islam, filed the case at the capital&#8217;s Khilkhet police station. In this case, Professor Abu Yusuf, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Northern University. Abdullah was earlier arrested by the PBI. Another person named Riazul Alam was also arrested.
