Babar Azam scored 19 runs en route to his 18th ODI century to become the fastest to reach the 5,000-run milestone, surpassing Hashim Amla. Pakistan scored 334 for 6 on his century and beat New Zealand by a huge margin of 102 runs to top the ICC ODI rankings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Babar Azam scored 107 runs on 10 fours. The hosts collected 334 runs after losing six wickets. He took four wickets for 43 runs in 10 overs. Mohammad Wasim took 3 wickets for 40 runs in 8.4 overs with 1 maiden. Haris Rauf took 2 wickets for 37 runs in 8 overs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">New Zealand captain Tom Latham scored 60, Mark Chapman 46, Darryl Mitchell 34, and Tom Blundell 23 runs with the bat. Centurion Babar Azam was the man of the match.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">With this win, Pakistan has topped the ICC rankings with 113.483 rating points from 29 matches. This is a first for Pakistan since the introduction of the ranking system in 2005.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Australia dropped to second place with 113.286 rating points from 35 matches. India has dropped to third place with 112.638 rating points from 47 matches. New Zealand dropped to fifth place with 107 rating points.
