Ibrahim Khalil breathed his last at 6:50 am on Thursday (04 May) while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chittagong due to brain stroke. He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter and numerous relatives and well-wishers. The untimely death of Juba Dal leader Ibrahim Khalil has cast a shadow of mourning in the area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Countless people participated in the funeral prayers of Ibrahim Khalil (40), the second son of Alhaj Tanu Mia of Khagrachari district headquarters, general secretary of the district Jubo Dal. It is believed that about 12 to 15 thousand Muslims participated in this prayer. In the past year, so many people did not attend the funeral of any person in Khagrachari district. He was buried with the love of many people regardless of party affiliation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He died early on Thursday (04 May) while under intensive observation at the Chittagong Specialized Treatment and Trauma Center. His funeral prayers were held at Khagrachari Government High School ground at 2.30 pm on Thursday. Former MP Wadud Bhuiyan, Central Youth Party leaders and upazila leaders of the district participated in the funeral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Khalil suddenly suffered a brain stroke while staying in Feni district on April 27. He was immediately taken to Chittagong Ever Care Hospital. Doctors operated on the brain for 4 hours from April 28 midnight to April 29 morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Evercare has been placed in ICO since the operation. After that he was taken out of ICO and taken to Chittagong Specialized Treatment and Trauma Center. He died early Thursday morning while under intensive care there. He was buried at Khagrachari Central Cemetery. Various journalists and people from all walks of life including political and social organizations expressed their condolences to the bereaved family. He is survived by his wife, two children, parents, siblings and many other well-wishers. His untimely death cast a shadow of mourning on the entire district. The news of Khalil&#8217;s death went viral through social media, with wishes for Khalil&#8217;s recovery. Apart from condolence, everyone wished for the forgiveness of the soul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to party sources, the doctors operated on the brain for 4 hours from Friday midnight to Saturday morning. Doctors have kept him under close observation for 72 hours. Khagrachari district BNP president Wadud Bhuiyan and thousands of activists rushed to see the troubled youth leader Ibrahim Khalil. Ibrahim Khalil (37), General Secretary of Khagrachhari District Jubo Dal, is on the brink of death. He was undergoing treatment at Chittagong Ever Care Hospital after suffering a brain stroke. Ibrahim Khalil was once the general secretary of Khagrachari District Chhatra Dal. Besides, he was a candidate for mayor of Khagrachari municipality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Khagrachari District Youth Dal General Secretary Ibrahim Khalil expressed deep grief over the untimely death of Khagrachari District BNP President and former Member of Parliament Wadud Bhuiyan, Vice President Konchairi Master, Praveen Chandra Chakma, General Secretary MN Abshar, Joint Secretary Mangsathwai Chowdhury, Animesh Chakma Rinku, Kshetra Mohan. Roaza, Sathwaapru Chowdhury, district youth party president Mahbub Alam Sabuj, district women&#8217;s party president Kuheli Dewan, district Chhatra Dal president Shahedul Hossain Sumon, general secretary Zahidul Alam and all the leaders of the organizations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the statement, the leaders said, BNP has lost a selfless and courageous leader in Ibrahim Khalil&#8217;s untimely death. The damage caused to the party by his death will never be recovered. Before this, Ibrahim Khalil, general secretary of the district youth party, was on the brink of death. Ibrahim Khalil (37), general secretary of the district youth party, has been operated on. But still not regained consciousness.
