Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of historic Mujibnagar Day.<\/p>\n

On Monday (April 17) at 7:50 a.m., he laid a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at 32 Dhanmondi in the capital.<\/p>\n

After paying tribute to the Prime Minister, the members of the Awami League and its affiliates and fraternal organizations paid tribute to Bangabandhu by placing flowers on his portrait. At this time, the area became lively with slogans.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that today is historic Mujibnagar Day. On this day of Agnijhra in 1971, the swearing-in of the first cabinet of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was held as a beacon for the Bengali nation affected by the invading forces.<\/p>\n
