The Japanese government wants to build a communication system along with the development of seaports to market the products produced in the proposed industrial zone in the north-eastern part of India, Nepal, and Bhutan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The proposal came after Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida&#8217;s visit to India last month. Reuters news.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The Prime Minister of Japan thinks that there is enough opportunity to develop industrial zones in the South Asian region. The improvement in quality of life will be visible if development can be strengthened in India&#8217;s northeast and Bay of Bengal region, home to 300 million people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">After Kishida&#8217;s visit to India, the Japanese government approved $127 million for investment in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The investment will mainly go into three infrastructure projects, including a new commercial port in the Matarbari region, which will connect India&#8217;s landlocked northeast, including Tripura. However, the scope of this port will not only be limited to this, but it will also aim to capture a larger international market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The Japanese Ambassador to India, Hiroshi Suzuki, spoke on Tuesday about the proposal raised in this regard during a meeting between Bangladesh, India, and Japan in Tripura&#8217;s capital, Agartala. According to him, it can be beneficial for both India and Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Hiroshi Suzuki also said that the operation of the deep-sea port is likely to start by 2027.
