Sports Desk:<\/strong> Mashrafe Bin Murtaza’s Legends of Rupganj were flying after winning six matches in a row in the Walton Dhaka Premier League. But in the seventh and eighth rounds of the league, they had to taste the bitter taste of two defeats. However, last time’s runners-up did not take time to return to victory. They defeated Prime Bank Cricket Club on Monday in the ninth round. Mashrafe has confirmed playing in the Super League by winning by five wickets.<\/p>\n

BKSP won the toss on field number 4 and started fielding, stopping Rupganj Prime Bank for 128 runs. Chasing an easy target, Rupganj lost five wickets in 24.4 overs and secured victory. The team’s bowlers laid the foundation for the win. The Prime Bank batsmen lost their way in the combined attack of pacers and spinners.<\/p>\n

Abdul Halim was the best bowler with 3 wickets for 34 runs in 8 overs. Mashrafe and Sohag Ghazi took two wickets each. Besides, Chirag Jani, Rajibul Islam, and Naeem Islam Jr. took one wicket each.<\/p>\n

Mushfiqur Rahim, who was in great form, entered the field for Prime Bank. But he could not score more than five runs in five balls. Nasir Hossain scored a total of 31 runs for the team. Besides, 28 runs came off the bat of Yasir Ali Chowdhury. Foreigner Karim Janat of the party is not able to do well. The Afghan cricketer got out after scoring 17 runs off 26 balls.<\/p>\n
