Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> The court framed charges against BNP central organizing secretary and former deputy land minister Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu in the income tax evasion case. As a result, the formal trial of the case began.<\/p>\n

On Sunday (April 9), the judge of Dhaka’s special judge court No. 2, Akhtaruzzaman, rejected the acquittal of the accused and ordered the framing of charges. At the same time, the court fixed the date of hearing the case for May 14.<\/p>\n

On this day, Dulu appeared in court. On his behalf, the lawyer asked for an exemption from the case. The prosecution is prayed for by the state. After the hearing of both parties, the court ordered the framing of charges against him.<\/p>\n

On this day, the charge brought against Dulu was read out. At this time, he claimed to be innocent and prayed for justice. Dulu’s lawyer, Taherul Islam Tawhid, gave all this information.<\/p>\n

Assistant Tax Commissioner of the Board of Revenue (NBR) Hafiz Al Asad filed a tax evasion case against Dulu on August 3, 2008, as the plaintiff.<\/p>\n

It is said in the complaint of the case that since 1983, he has evaded income tax in the amount of 10 lakh rupees against a total income of 2 crore, 34 lakh, and 37 thousand rupees.
