Jhenaidah Correspondent:<\/strong> It has been alleged that a person was killed in a stampede by opponents as soon as he came out of the mosque in Jhenaidah’s Harinakundu. The attack took place at the mosque gate of Upazila Health Complex around 5 p.m. on Friday (March 31).<\/p>\n

Deceased Rabiul Islam (50) is the son of Minhaj Uddin of Jorapukuria village of Harinakundu municipality.<\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses said that on Friday afternoon, Rabiul Islam Upazila Health Complex mosque was attacked by Palash Mia from the same village as he left the gate after Asr prayer. At this time, they kept scratching Rabiul’s back and head with sharp blades. At that time, the attackers ran away when the people around him came forward. Later, the locals first admitted him to Harinakundu Upazila Health Complex and then to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital. When the situation worsened there, he died at around 9:30 p.m. on the way to Dhaka.<\/p>\n
