His press secretary poet and lyricist Aniket Rajesh confirmed the death.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">He said that Noor Alam Siddiqui died on Wednesday at 4:37 am while undergoing treatment at the United Hospital in the capital. His body will be taken to Jhenaidah by helicopter this morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">After funeral there, his funeral will be held at Azad Mosque in Gulshan after Asr. At this time Noor Alam Siddiqui will be given a &#8216;guard of honour&#8217;. After that, he will be buried next to his own mosque in Savar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Tukhor student leader of the seventies Noore Alam Siddiqui served as the president of Chhatra League during 1970-1972. He had an important role in the liberation war. He was one of the leaders of Mujib Bahini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Noor Alam Siddiqui played an active role in all the political activities of that time, including participation in six-point movement, language movement.
