Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> A fire broke out in a seven-story slum in the capital’s Mohakhali, and some houses were burnt. 9 units of fire service brought the fire under control in about two hours. The fire service also said that no casualties have been reported in this incident.<\/p>\n

The fire service said that the fire was brought under control at 8:10 a.m. on Monday (March 27). The matter was confirmed by Anwarul Islam Dolan, the media cell officer of the fire service headquarters.<\/p>\n

He said our nine units brought the fire in the seven-story slum under control in about an hour and a half. The initial cause of the fire was not known. However, many tin-shed houses in the slum were gutted in the fire.<\/p>\n

However, initially, the official could not tell the cause of the fire or the amount of damage.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Tejgaon Fire Service Station received information about the fire after 6:30 a.m. on Monday. Later, two of their units went to the spot and started working to control the fire. After that, seven more units started working to control the fire. Later, 9 units of fire service brought the fire under control at 8:10 a.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
