The insurance benefit increased from Tk 2 lakh to Tk 10 lakh, and the tenure increased from 2 years to 5 years. The benefits of this insurance will increase day by day. He said that in addition to this compulsory insurance, initiatives will be taken to launch other insurances with more benefits for the welfare of expatriate workers. Care should be taken to ensure that expatriate workers can avail themselves of the benefits of insurance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: #252525;\">Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Minister Imran Ahmad MP said these things in the Chief Guest&#8217;s speech at the signing ceremony of the Wage Earners Welfare Board&#8217;s five-year expatriate worker insurance contract with Jeevan Bima Corporation at Pravasi Kalyan Bhavan&#8217;s Vijay 71 Auditorium today at 3 p.m. Benazir Ahmed MP, President of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Senior Secretary of the Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Ministry, spoke as a special guest. Ahmed Muniruch Salehin and Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority Chairman Mohammad Zainul Bari<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: #252525;\">Benazir Ahmed MP, President of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, said in the event that the financial security of expatriate workers is actually being created under insurance. He also said that it would be better if all the workers who are currently staying abroad could come under this insurance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: #252525;\">Senior Secretary Dr. Ahmed Muniruch Salehin said that our first priority is to ensure that expatriate workers can do their work abroad without risk. At the same time, expatriate insurance has been introduced, considering their risk. He also said that the initiative to introduce insurance for expatriate workers has been appreciated all over the world.
