Encouraging business growth and investment with timely policy support. The ready-made garment sector occupies the lion&#8217;s share of Bangladesh&#8217;s exports. Apart from this, jute and jute products, light engineering, agro products, plastic products and service sector have great potential to increase exports. The Commerce Minister said that the current government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is providing cash financial support to exports, providing benefits in VAT and taxes, providing tax benefits in the import of industrial raw materials and capital machinery, banking preferences and facilities to increase exports and attract investment. Special trade facilities are also being provided for investments in the country&#8217;s Special Economic Zones. There is a large market for Halal products in the world. We have the ability to export Hala products in this market. The Ministry of Commerce has started the work of setting up an authority to issue certificates of Halal products. Bangladesh will be able to export Halal products worldwide if the Halal Certification Authority is formed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Commerce Minister made these remarks while addressing the Chief Guest at the seminar titled \u201cBangladesh: USD 100 Billion Investment Opportunities in Key Sectors for Investors to Leverage\u201d at the ongoing Bangladesh Business Summit-2023 organized by FBCCI at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center Hall of Fame in Dhaka today (March 12, 2023). . The State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spoke as guest of honor in the event. Shahriar Alam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The guest of honor of the program is the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Shahriar Alam said in his speech that Bangladesh is successfully implementing several mega projects. A few have already been completed.
