{"id":4820,"date":"2023-03-10T14:11:07","date_gmt":"2023-03-10T14:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=4820"},"modified":"2023-03-10T14:11:07","modified_gmt":"2023-03-10T14:11:07","slug":"human-chain-of-autorickshaw-drivers-in-dohazari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/4820\/","title":{"rendered":"Human chain of autorickshaw drivers in Dohazari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><strong><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Md.<\/span><\/span> <\/strong><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Ayub Miyaji, Chandanaish:<\/strong> Darogakata-Lalutia-Masterghona-Chakidarpari-Diakul is the route of about 10 lakh people from East Dohazari multipurpose road under the jurisdiction of Dohazari municipality of Chandanaish upazila of Chittagong.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">CNG drivers have been obstructing the movement of autorickshaws on this road for a long time.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Auto drivers go for settlement through arbitration meetings at different places, but instead they are harassed, beaten, and tortured.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This human chain was organized by auto rickshaw workers, van driver workers, and local residents in front of Diakul Ashram Gate at around 12 a.m. on Friday, March 10, to express their demands on the occasion of the arrival of the MP as the poor and helpless drivers did not get any solution anywhere.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In this case, when the agitators demanded to speak to Alhaj Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, Member of Parliament for Chittagong-14 Constituency, while passing through the road, he would not be able to obstruct the movement of all types of vehicles on the village road.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Because the road belongs to the people, all vehicles will be able to move as before.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He gave this assurance that there would be no bagat.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At the end of the human chain, the protestors were filled with joy, and at one point they ended the human chain by expressing their cooperation and gratitude towards the implementation of MP Nazrul Islam&#8217;s promise.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At this time, Nazim Uddin, a member of Ward No. 9 of the defunct Dohazari Union Parishad, expressed his solidarity.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">General Secretary of Upazila Krishak League Nawab Ali, Chairman of Abul Kashem Ledu Foundation Lokman Hakim, Jubo League leader Soleman, etc. were also present.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Md.
