This information is known from the latest report by the Bangladesh Bank.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Last January, total remittances of $1.66 billion came in. According to the data of the central bank, in the first 24 days of February, 221.51 million dollars came through state-owned banks, 2.986 million through specialized banks, 107.43 million through private banks, and 5.1 million through foreign banks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The central bank has taken various initiatives to increase remittances. Sending remittances through legitimate channels is encouraged in various ways. It is believed that the remittance flow has increased as a result of these measures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">In the outgoing fiscal year 2021\u20132022, total remittances came to 2 billion, 103 million, and 17 million US dollars.
