Earlier, the organization organized a rally in front of the museum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Speakers at the rally sought immediate action from the government to implement the demands given in the election manifesto to overcome the unstable situation among the minority communities due to the non-implementation of the seven-point demands. If the demands are not met by next June, they have announced a nationwide hunger strike beginning in mid-July.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The organization&#8217;s joint general secretary is Ed. If minorities&#8217; demands are not met, Bangladesh&#8217;s international standing will never improve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Rana Dasgupta, general secretary of the organization, announced the program for the coming days before the religious-ethnic minority unity march. At this time, he said, we expect that the government party and Sheikh Hasina will take appropriate initiatives to implement the promises given in the 2018 national election manifesto of the current government party by next June.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">We do not want to be victims of deprivation, discrimination, or oppression in any way in an independent Bangladesh. We will wait for the active initiative of the Prime Minister. If no active initiative is observed by the government and the party leading the liberation war to implement the promises given in the election manifesto by next June, then in continuation of the ongoing movement, as per our pre-announced program, in the middle of July next, gatherings will be held in eight divisional cities across the country, including Dhaka, and will include men and women of religious and ethnic minorities and tribal communities.
