Last Thursday (February 09) in the afternoon at the Tarapuskarni field of Sripur Union of the upazila, the General Secretary of Comilla South District A-League, former Railway Minister Mujibul Haque Mujib MP, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the champion and runner-up teams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a tense final match, Kashinagar Sports Association emerged as champions after defeating rivals Unkot Bulu Football XI by 1-0. Foreign player Usman Khanja scored the only goal after 5 minutes of the first half.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">General Secretary of Comilla South District A&#8217;League and former Railway Minister Mujibul Haque Mujib MP&#8217;s wife Advocate Hanufa Akhtar Rikta was the chief speaker on the occasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A-League General Secretary Principal Rahmat Ullah Babul, Upazila Vice Chairman ABM A Bahar, Central Volunteer League Advisory Board Member Abu Taher, Chauddagram Inspector (Investigation) Rajeev Chakraborty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speakers in the event said that there is no alternative to sports to keep the body and mind healthy. Sports and fair entertainment can make a person a good person and prevent him from various criminal activities. At this time, they sincerely thanked all the tournament committee and urged to continue such organization in the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tournament committee president, prominent businessman and contractor, Upazila A-League member Tofail Ahmed presided over, General Secretary and Upazila Muktijoddha Children Sangsad Command President Mostafa Moniruzzaman Bhuiyan Jewel and Finance Secretary, Comilla South District Chhatra League&#8217;s former General Secretary Lokman Hossain Rubel jointly conducted the event.
