In a report, this information was given by the news agency AFP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I took action today to impose new visa restrictions on certain current or former members of the Taliban, members of private security groups, and individuals responsible for or involved in the abuse of women and girls in Afghanistan,&#8221; Blinken said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Blinken said repression and repressive measures included &#8220;the Taliban&#8217;s decision to ban women from working with universities and NGOs.&#8221;<br style=\"color: #252525;\" \/>\u00a0<br style=\"color: #252525;\" \/>Since the Taliban returned to power in August 2021, they have imposed strict restrictions on Afghan women.
