The appeal will be defaulted (dismissed) if the file (summary of appeal) is not ready for hearing within this time frame.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Advocate on record Zainul Abedin Tuhin stood for the Jamaat in court. Barrister Tanya Amir appeared for the writ petitioner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">In this regard, barrister Tanya Amir said, we have taken many initiatives to hear the case. The court gave them time many times. They are not preparing in vain. final order given today. The file (summary of appeal) will be defaulted (dismissed) if it is not ready for hearing within eight weeks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, Matiur Rahman Akand, a lawyer for Jamaat-e-Islami, said that it was on the agenda of the Appellate Division today. The court gave him time for the next two months. He directed me to submit the concise statement (summary of the appeal) within two months. He mentioned that he would not give any more time. According to the court order, Jamaat-e-Islami will participate in the hearing of the case. I hope Jamaat will get its registration back. and I can prepare it in two months. Our lead lawyer is former Attorney General AJ Mohammad Ali. Besides, Barristers Imran Siddique and Ehsan Siddique are employed as lawyers. They will handle the case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">A larger bench of the High Court, comprising Justice M Moazzam Hossain, Justice M Inayetur Rahim, and Justice Kazi Reza-ul-Haq, ruled that the Election Commission (EC) registration granted to the Jamaat was invalid on August 1, 2013 in the final judgment of the ruling issued by the High Court following a writ petition. the bench<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">At the time, the court stated in a brief decision that this registration was illegal.At the same time, the court allowed Jamaat to appeal. However, the Appellate Division&#8217;s chamber judge, AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury, dismissed the Jamaat&#8217;s application seeking a stay order on August 5 of the same year.
