A committee headed by the Additional Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) under the Ministry of External Affairs has been constituted in this regard. The remaining members of the committee are representatives of the Armed Police Battalion, Cox&#8217;s Bazar District Police, Bandarban DC Office and other law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) Mohammad Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter on Saturday afternoon. He said, &#8220;The committee from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is starting work to identify the Rohingyas sheltered in Tumbru Bazar.&#8221; Their identity is being verified. After their scrutiny, the committee will make recommendations for further action.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rohingya Noor Hashim, who took shelter in Tumbru market, said that a government delegation came here today. Interrogated us. I heard that we will be moved to another place.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier on January 18, Rohingya Hamid Ullah was killed and two others named Muhib Ullah (25) and Mohammad Hosan (12) were injured in a shooting-fire incident at the Rohingya camp at the zero line of Tumbru border in Naikshyongchari. At this time, the homes of Rohingyas living on the zero line were burnt. Then they pitched their tents and took shelter in the Tumbru market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Four Rohingya detained<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, four Rohingyas were detained by the BGB while infiltrating from Myanmar through Jaliar Island area of Naf River in Teknaf on Saturday morning. Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Halim said that they have been handed over to the police station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">OC said, &#8216;The arrested 4 Rohingya have been sent to Cox&#8217;s Bazar jail in the case given by BGB. They were detained while entering Bangladesh illegally.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The detained Rohingyas are Ismail Mia (46), Hussain Mubarak (25), Abder Mallik (25) and Anis (36).
