This fair is organized every year at the beginning of the English New Year in memory of Mumtaz&#8217;s late father Baul Sadhak Alhaj Madhu Bayati. The 22nd season is starting in its continuation. Will continue till January 3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main attraction of the fair is the performance of folk and pala songs with the participation of famous baul artists of the country. Chief Whip of National Parliament Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury MP will be present as the chief guest on the inaugural day. Apart from various Baul artists, Latif Sarkar and Mukta Sarkar will perform Pala songs that day and night. On the second day, Manik Dewan and Ruma Sarkar will participate in Pala song.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minister of Health and Family Welfare Alhaj Zahid Malek Swapan MP will be present as the chief guest on the concluding day. In the night, poets will be performed on the mela stage by famous poet Suman Sarkar and Bikash Sarkar of Kolkata. Apart from this, every day from 3 pm to 10 pm, renowned Baul artists from different parts of the country will perform music on Madhu Manch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Around the fair, there is already a festive atmosphere in the Bowl Complex area. Cleaning and decoration work is going on. Already the shopkeepers are starting to arrange the display of various products. For entertainment there are various rides including Nagordola, mini train and electric boat. Mumtaz Begum MP organizes this fair with her own funding without any kind of donation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">People from far and wide have already started coming to this fair. Along with law enforcement, a large number of volunteers will be deployed to ensure security at the fair.
