Already, 102 workers have received visas, but in the first phase, 15 people are going to 30 people in two days. On December 21 and 22, these workers will leave Dhaka for the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (Boesel) gave this information in a press conference on pre-departure for Romanian expats at the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Boesel said at the event, these workers are going to the country through a tripartite agreement between Romania&#8217;s Sumna Sportswear, Europa Fashions Limited and the organization. So far, Boesel has received 312 workers&#8217; demand letters. Of these, 102 worker visas have been obtained and Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) smart cards have been completed. The visas of the rest are under process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to BMET, these workers in Romania will receive a salary of between 400 and 500 US dollars according to various positions including sewing machine operator, cutting operator, factory manager, textile engineering. Their accommodation, food, medical expenses will be borne by the company. Employees can renew the contract even if the employment period is two years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was also informed in the press conference that the total cost will be Tk 2 lakh 31 thousand 240 including the air fare of the employees, service charge of Europa Fashion, service charge of Boesel and visa arrangements from India. These expenses will be borne by the employee. 50,000 taka per worker will be deposited in Bocelle and the workers will get the deposit back after the labor contract is over. Besides, Europa Fashion Limited will deposit 10 percent of their service charges with Boesel and will get it back after the employee&#8217;s employment is permanent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Minister Imran Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion. He said that the process of sending workers to Romania and other European countries will continue through Boesel. He also urged the workers who want to go abroad to be responsible towards the country and increase the reputation of the country by focusing on responsible behavior and work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The minister called on Boesel and other stakeholders to see how to reduce the cost of workers traveling to Romania. He said that the workers will get benefits if they can reduce a little from the figure that is being talked about.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The secretary of the ministry. Ahmed Muniruch Salehin said, 5 thousand of our workers have gone to Romania. It is good news that the workers are going. But there is a danger, not being there. We bullied Romania because of workers. If this is the case, the demand for new workers will not come.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At that time, the secretary warned the workers and said that we will take all necessary measures, including canceling the passports of those who will go elsewhere. The country is big for us. No one should try to go from Romania to another country on the broker&#8217;s word.
