Bichitar-Sambad Desk:<\/strong> Iran’s Afsin Ismail Gaderzadeh has been named in the Guinness World Records as the world’s ‘smallest’ person. At just 2 feet 1.6 inches (65.24 cm), 20-year-old Afsin became the world’s shortest person.<\/p>\n

This record was previously held by 36-year-old Edward Nino Hernandez of Colombia. However, Afsin’s height is 7 centimeters (2.7 inches) shorter than that. Afsin had to go to Dubai to get his name in the Guinness World Records. There his height was measured 3 times separately in 24 hours.<\/p>\n

According to The Wall, Afsin is a resident of a remote village in Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. He can speak Kurdish and Persian fluently. Afsin’s birth weight was only 700 grams. Currently his weight is 6.5 kg.<\/p>\n

Afsin had a different childhood due to his unusually short height. He was a source of laughter for everyone. As a result, his schooling did not progress far. Due to his height, he is currently not getting any work in the village.<\/p>\n

Afrin’s father said Afsin’s treatment started due to physical weakness. That is why he was forced to stop his studies. However, Afsin’s father said that his son has no mental problems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
