The Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Hasan Faiz Siddiqui passed the order on Sunday (18 December).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Advocate Shah Manjurul Haque heard on behalf of Nazmul Huda in the court. Lawyer Mohammad Yashin appeared for the EC. He confirmed the order and said that the High Court had ordered Trinamool BNP to register. The Election Commission left to appeal against this judgment of the High Court. Today, the Appellate Division upheld the judgment of the High Court by dismissing the EC&#8217;s leave to appeal. As a result Trinamool BNP will have to register.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier on November 4, 2018, the High Court ordered the Trinamool BNP under the leadership of Nazmul Hooda to register as a political party. Judge Tariq Ul Hakim and Justice Md. announced the rule issued in this regard. Suhrawardy High Court bench gave the verdict.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The High Court took the opinion of former Attorney General AF Hasan Arif, former Additional Attorney General MK Rahman and lawyer Shahdin Malik as amicus curiae in the hearing of this rule. The Election Commission rejected Trinamool BNP&#8217;s application for registration on June 14 that year.
