Fuel oil will be supplied from Chittagong to Narayanganj through the pipeline within the next two years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said these things after inspecting the work of setting up the receiver terminal of Godnail Meghna Depot in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj on Wednesday (December 14) morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state minister said, &#8220;If oil is supplied through pipelines, the price of fuel oil will be very affordable in the transport sector. At present, the work of determining the price is going on by adjusting the price of oil with the world market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also said, &#8220;The 24 and 34 brigades of the Bangladesh Army&#8217;s engineering corps are supervising the construction of the pipeline.&#8221; The work of laying this pipeline through the Bangladeshi contractor is going on. Although this work started in 2016-2017, the work was stopped for two years due to Corona. Due to which the construction cost has increased. Once the pipeline is completed, it will be a breakthrough in the field of energy supply.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nasrul Hamid said, &#8220;In the meantime, the work of establishing the deep-sea pipeline from Patenga to the deep sea port has been completed. Earlier, small lighter ships used to bring oil from big mother vessels to Patenga. From there it was delivered to various depots by cars or small ships. Demurrage had to be calculated due to the mothership or larger ship sitting for 12-14 days. Installation of seep-sealed pipelines will reduce costs. Besides, oil will be supplied to various places from Chittagong Patenga to Godnail and Godnail depot through the pipeline. This will reduce the cost of oil transportation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state minister said, &#8216;airplane fuel oil will come to the Kurmitola depot from Rupganj&#8217;s Pitalganj to the new airport. Scatters system is installed for oil supply in the pipeline. If there is a change in the fuel oil temperature in the pipe or any tampering, it will be monitored through technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In response to a question from journalists, the state minister said, &#8216;BPC is a big organization. There are some questions. Parliamentary committee raised a question on BCP financial matters. We have asked BPC to conduct an audit on various matters including financials by a third party audit firm. Every five years the organization needs a check and balance.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said, &#8220;Since we are trying to enter the open oil market in the future, we need a qualitative change at the policy level as well.&#8221; We are talking to the regulatory body.
