A bench consisting of Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Khizir Hayat passed the order.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin Manik was in the court for the state. Khurshid Alam Khan stood for the Anti-Corruption Commission-ACC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin said, despite surrendering to the judicial court, an arrest warrant was issued against him due to delay in various pretexts for nine months. Concealing that information, the High Court again came to the High Court and applied for anticipatory bail, and the High Court ordered his arrest. Along with that, the immigration has been asked to take measures so that he cannot leave the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The name of that businessman is Abu Ahmed. He is a resident of Fatikchari, Chittagong. Police&#8217;s criminal investigation agency CID filed a case against 20 people at Kotyali police station on March 18, 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is said in the case, the accused have directly and indirectly acquired various properties including cars, houses, markets with money of Tk 204 crores through hundi and illegal trade of gold smuggling, theft and other goods from different countries of the world for 12 years with the help of each other.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CID reached this conclusion by reviewing the account statements, documents, transaction types and movable and immovable assets of the accused received from BFIU of Bangladesh Bank.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On February 7, Justice Md. The High Court bench led by Nazrul Islam Talukder appeared and sought anticipatory bail for Abu Ahmed. Accepting his application, the High Court directed him to surrender before the Senior Special Judge Court of Chittagong within three weeks. Then Abu Ahmed&#8217;s tricks started. He surrendered on February 22 and applied for bail. But repeatedly took the strategy of delaying the hearing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After receiving his bail application, Chittagong Senior Special Judge Ismail Hossain summoned the documents and set the date for hearing on May 5. But the bail hearing was not done as the documents did not come from the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Chittagong. The date of hearing was fixed on July 13, but the hearing was not held that day as the documents did not come. On that day, the court fixed the date of hearing on September 5, submitting the documents by August 31. But in this way the accused prayed for time for hearing several more times. The court accepted these applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, on November 13, an arrest warrant was issued against the defendant after filing an application.
