Md. Rezaul Karim of Khoksha upazila of Kushtia is at the center of such a sensational incident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rezaul is currently an academic supervisor under the SESD project of the Directorate of Secondary Education, on the one hand, and is also working as an Arabic lecturer at the Chandt MB Medinatul Uloom Fazil Madrasa on the other. It is alleged that he is working two jobs simultaneously and has taken government benefits from two institutions every month. However, the distance between these two workplaces is more than 100 kilometers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rezaul Karim, a resident of Chandt village, joined the government project as an academic supervisor in 2012, and is currently working in Mohammadpur upazila of Magura. Then on February 1, 2022, he was appointed as an Arabic lecturer at the Khoksha Madrasa through NTRC. However, he used two different national identity cards for the two posts\u2014one from Gazipur, the other from Khoksa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Several teachers of the madrasa alleged that Rezaul Karim had been absent for months under the umbrella of local politics and had been collecting his salary regularly. There is a record of his salary collection from 2022 to February 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to sources from the Mohammadpur Upazila Secondary Education Office, Rezaul Karim had been receiving regular salary allowances as an academic supervisor until March 2025. He is currently on leave due to a piles operation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rezaul Karim admitted to working in two posts but claimed, \u201cI have not received any salary from the madrasa.\u201d He also said, \u201cThe government project has expired and discussions are underway with senior officials regarding the refund of the salary taken.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Madrasa principal Mohammad Shahiduzzaman said, \u201cRezaul Karim is appointed through NTRC. He regularly attends classes and receives salary allowances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mohammadpur Upazila Secondary Education Officer Muhammad Anwar Hossain said, \u201cHe works regularly, but has been on leave for the past month.\u201d<br \/>\nKhoksa Upazila Acting Secondary Education Officer Mostafizur Rahman said, \u201cThe madrasas are not under our control. However, I have heard about the complaint, the Upazila Executive Officer can take action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Upazila Executive Officer Pradipta Roy Dwipan said, \u201cAlthough there was no written complaint in this incident, the truth has been found.
