Later, they took a stand on the opposite side of the Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mustafa, who participated in the sit-in, said, &#8220;We have been holding a peaceful sit-in in front of the Secretariat since yesterday morning. Nothing has been said by the government or the ministry. We are holding a sit-in today from 9 am. A while ago, three of our representatives went to the Home Ministry. They are talking to the Secretary, Sir.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In response to a question about whether any decision is coming, he said, &#8220;Secretary Sir is asking for 7 days to decide what to do with us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A protester who did not want to be named said, &#8220;We will hold this sit-in until our demands are met.&#8221; If it takes a week to decide on reinstatement, what is the point? They should tell us what they will do today.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There were a total of 823 people in the 40th batch of cadet SIs recruited during the Awami League government for training. 321 of them were dismissed while they were training at the Bangladesh Police Academy on charges of breach of discipline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These measures were taken in four phases in the last three months.
