The accident occurred on Sunday (December 29) at around 6 pm. The deceased were identified as Asia Begum (60) and her granddaughter Arthi (7).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arthi&#8217;s father, Babul Hossain Rakib, said, &#8220;I received news on Sunday evening that my father-in-law and two daughters were injured in the accident. When I went to the scene, I found my mother-in-law dead on the spot. The two daughters and father-in-law were rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital, where the doctor declared the younger daughter, Arthi, dead.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said that they live in a rented house with their family in the Meghna Bhaberchar area. Yesterday afternoon, the father-in-law and his children were going to visit the Sonargaon Museum in an autorickshaw. The casualty occurred when a private car hit an auto-rickshaw on the west side of the Sonargaon Meghna Bridge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mohammad Faruk, in charge of the DMCH police camp, said, \u201cThe child\u2019s body has been kept at the Dhaka Medical College Morgue for autopsy. Two of the injured are admitted.
