This is a reflection of your political support, economic assistance, moral support, and other assistance to Bangladesh.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said this during a meeting with ambassadors of various European Union (EU) countries on Monday (December 9) afternoon. The meeting began at around 12 noon at the chief advisor&#8217;s office in Tejgaon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The chief advisor said, &#8220;Just four months ago, we went through a terrible situation. Then many students were brutally murdered. This incident united the entire nation. Through this, it was possible to remove the previous government from power. Later, the prime minister of that government fled the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said an interim government has been formed through the movement of students and the general public, which will govern the country until the elections. The election process is underway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, after the last 16 years of repression, the expression of human emotions is clear. The tragic stories of enforced disappearances have come to the fore one after another. The entire economy has been brought to such a state that it is almost on the verge of collapse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also said the banking system was almost dysfunctional. We have formed a &#8216;White Paper Committee.&#8217; The committee has documented the state in which we took over from the previous government. The economy, various obligations\u2014everything is highlighted in this report.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Professor Yunus said, You have received a copy of the report. If you look at its information, you can understand what the situation was like at that time.
