Another youth named Sajib Chakma (22) was injured in the leg by being shot in the incident. He was rescued and admitted to the hospital. The incident took place on Wednesday (November 30) around 9 am at the mid point of Durgam Newlongkar Dari Para village of the Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the police and local sources, the attack took place in the New Longar area, which is about 30 km from the upazila headquarters, in the morning. Both the injured and the deceased are motorcyclists by profession and cousins. They are supporters of the hill regional organization Jan Sanhati Samiti (JSS).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, organizing secretary of JSS (Santu) Baghaichhari Upazila, Tridip Chakma, blamed another regional organization of the hills, United People&#8217;s Democratic Front (UPDF), for this incident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rangamati Additional Superintendent of Police Mahmuda Begum said, I heard the news that one person was killed and another was injured. Police rushed to the spot.
