According to the agency&#8217;s data, inflation has increased due to higher prices of food items, especially rice and vegetables.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is reported that inflation was the highest in October in the last three months. Earlier, overall consumer price inflation was 9.92 percent in September and 10.49 percent in August.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nFood inflation rose to 12.66 percent in October from 10.40 percent in July, BBS said. Non-food inflation stood at 9.34 percent in October, up from 9.5 percent a month ago.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bangladesh has been struggling with increasingly high inflation for nearly two years. Headline inflation has been above nine percent since March 2023.
