National Revolution and Solidarity Day. On this day in 1975, the sepoys came down shoulder to shoulder with the firm conviction to protect our national freedom, sovereignty, and democracy by stopping all the conspiracies of the hegemonic clique. Sepahi-Janata freed late President Ziaur Rahman Bir-Uttam, the founder of BNP, the herald of great freedom, the promoter of multi-party democracy and Bangladeshi nationalism, from the confinement of the cantonment and assigned the responsibility of running the country. So November 7 is a unique day of historical significance in our national life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Sepahi-Janata revolution brought an end to the anarchy prevailing at that time, including hegemony, dictatorship, one-party rule, and chaos in public life. From an unstable environment, the country returns to an orderly environment. Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman delivered a speech on this occasion. BNP is holding a 10-day program to observe this day of national history with due dignity. Other organizations have also adopted the program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tarek Rahman&#8217;s speech: In his speech on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day, BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman said that the historic revolution of November 7 is very significant. State lawlessness, political chaos, and the then ruling class for their own interests threatened the national independence, weakened the sovereignty, and pushed the country into the clutches of hegemony. Only to perpetuate their own power, anti-democratic activities begin. The Bakshali government has deprived people of their just rights in an extremely undemocratic and fascist manner. During this extreme crisis of patriotism, on November 3, 1975, the Kuchkris imprisoned Ziaur Rahman and his family in the cantonment. On November 7, fearless soldiers and people poured into the streets in a unique solidarity, and Ziaur Rahman was freed. Under the leadership of President Zia, the independence and sovereignty of the country became a strong entity without influence. Therefore, I think, in the spirit of November 7, it is very important to unite all the nationalist forces to unblock the path of democracy and protect national independence and sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">BNP&#8217;s program: hoisting of national and party flags across the country at 6 am today, paying tribute at Ziaur Rahman&#8217;s shrine at 10 am, cultural program at Shahid Minar in the afternoon. Rallies will be held on November 8 in the capital and at the district and divisional levels. Apart from this, the organs and affiliated organizations will conduct their own separate programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jamaat&#8217;s call to celebrate the day: Today, November 7, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami has called for celebrating National Revolution and Solidarity Day with due dignity. Shafiqur Rahman.
