It is said that they gathered there for the purpose of robbery. They were arrested from the part of the expressway adjacent to Gosaildanga Saber Plaza of Bandar police station during a special police patrol last Monday around 1:30 am. According to the police, the arrested were gathering there for the purpose of robbery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They carried out the robberies in the middle of the night in battery-powered rickshaws, blocking the speed of the vehicles plying on the expressway. They all work as a cycle. During interrogation, they admitted that they had gathered for the purpose of robbery. During this time, two steel tips, an iron angle, and two Bivatech battery-powered rickshaws without numbers were found from them. These things were seized by the police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arrested are Md. Arman (19), Md. Ismail Hasan (19), Md. Rakibul Hasan (19), Md. Parvez (15), Main Uddin (17), Md. Riyad Hossain (15), So. Sabbir Hossain (16), and Samiul Rahman Prakash Shubo (15).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chittagong Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-Media) Kazi Md. Tarek Aziz told the media that during a special patrol of the police, some miscreants were arrested when they were preparing to commit a robbery on the Expressway. They were arrested under the Robbery Preparation Act. Three of them are teenagers. All have been sent to court. Two unnumbered rickshaws with sharp weapons were found with them.
