Later, in a notification, the Cabinet Department informed this information. In the same meeting, it was decided to increase the seniority limit for government jobs to 32 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the circular, in the light of an ordinance, the Ministry of Public Administration, empowered under Section 59 of the &#8216;Government Employment Act, 2018&#8217;, restructured the &#8216;Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Qualification, and Examination for Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2014&#8217;, a candidate in the Bangladesh Civil Service Examination maximum Can be landed three times; rules will be added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is also said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. The maximum age limit for entry into the service of all cadres of the Bangladesh Civil Service will be fixed at 32 years.<br \/>\n2. The maximum age limit for entering all government jobs outside the scope of Bangladesh Civil Service will be 32 years.<br \/>\n3. In the case of autonomous or semi-autonomous bodies, the respective recruitment rules will be applicable subject to necessary adaptations.<br \/>\n4. The respective recruitment rules will remain in force in the case of Defense Services and Law and Order Forces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, the review committee in this regard had recommended that the upper age limit for entry into government service be 35 years for men and 37 years for women. But they did not say anything about the retirement age.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On September 30, the government constituted a committee to review the demand for increasing the age limit for entry into employment. Former secretary Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, who heads the Public Administration Reform Commission, was made the head of this committee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At present, the general age of entry into government service is 30 years. However, the maximum age limit for applying for Freedom Fighter&#8217;s Child Quota is 32 years.
